Project Proposal Media Project 5

Introduction
My project proposal idea for media project 5 is to create a web based interactive site by where the user can learn and test their knowledge on ancient and current civilisations throughout Europe. There will be a quiz at the end of each section depending on what country the user pics and there score will be kept so that they can keep track of their progress and compare how much they know about one particular country to the next.

Background
The project theme that I chose was UNESCO International Year for the Rapproachment of Cultures. On the UNESCO website it talks a lot about improving communication between cultures through education so my target audience is aimed at secondary school students aged 16 and over, people who like to travel and anyone who'd have a genaral interest in learning about different civilisations in Europe.

Aims
The website is a learning tool and can be accessable through internet or mobile phone. Its an education tool where by the user can not only find out about other civilisation around Europe but also learn a bit about their own as well and having fun while doing it.

Objectives
I need to carry out research on the differnet countries in Europe

Time management, I might not have time to do each country so I've to draw up a project plan and create a prototype of what the site could look like and what it could potentionally be

Take a look at my resources, what is available to me and can what I want to do be achieved

Planning out the steps I need to take to get my project going so I can stat taking in steps furthur to it being completed.
