Final Project Proposal MP5

Introduction
My project proposal idea for media project 5 is to create a flash based interactive site where the user can select a country of their choice throughout South America or one they may have an interest in and learn and find out about the country's history, culture and attractions.

Background
The project theme that I chose was UNESCO International Year for the Rapproachment of Cultures. On the UNESCO website it talks a lot about improving communication between cultures so my target audience is aimed all age groups from starting from young teenagers moving upwards and generally people who like to travel and explore different cultures.

Aims
This website will provide users with a general knowledge of the different background and culture of each country in South America. They will be able to take a journey and explore the history, the lifestyle and look up the attractions of the particular country. They will also be able to look up the best places to travel to and sites to see.

Objectives
Scale down the amount of information I provide on the website and keep it to a minimum as I wont have the time to include everything but on a larger scale the project has potential and could be expanded a lot more.

Draw up sketches of the website and layout of content on each page

Planning - draw out gnatt chart for schedule of work

Carry out research on the countries in South America
